I have been enjoying and learning quite a bit from the "History & Liturgy" course. In the "Decline of Chant: 12th - 18th centuries" video, I had trouble understanding the name of the work finished by the successors of Palestrina and Zoilo which according to the video was not as successful as was hoped. I believe it was called the Medici Graduale but I am struggling to find more information on it. Is this indeed the correct book?
I am most interested in finding some performances from it.
Yes, it is called the Medici Gradual, named after the famous/infamous Medici family... I believe because they funded the project or printed it or both. It is hard to find info on it and of all the various manuscripts available online with high-res scans, I have not been able to find much on this Gradual.
