"Christopher's Master Course has been of great assistance in developing my chant skills, which were hitherto unrooted in any study. Before, I could ably sing Gregorian chant thanks to several years of singing in a schola, but had never sat down to learn its ins and outs. One can really become a knowledgeable practitioner of this sacred art if one puts enough time into watching Christopher's lectures and reading the extra materials provided. In these videos, he synthesizes the many facets of chant together with its liturgical, aesthetic, historical and theoretical underpinnings in a clear and methodical way. Thanks to this course, I was able to confidently sing the marathon Tenebrae Office of Holy Week this year (2023). Next year, I shall hopefully be leading it!
